In the professional world of medium-to-heavy structural metalworking, long and repetitive welding tasks are common. These require the operator to remain in uncomfortable positions and repeat the same movements for long periods of time
Dynex 5M is a system designed for the automation of MIG/MAG welding, particularly for long, continuous welds.
This is a fully self-propelled robot whose key feature is its ability to operate without the need for costly and cumbersome tracks or guides. For long joints, the Dynex 5M trackless welding trolley helps to reduce operator fatigue and improves repeatability.
This self-propelled trolley is equipped with a welding torch movement unit. The drive system enables it to maintain a steady, controlled speed, allowing for a smooth, stable movement of the torch.
The Dynex 5M trolley features a 4-wheel drive system with rubber tyres, ensuring smooth movement; grip (on ferrous surfaces) is provided by powerful magnets that keep the trolley firmly attached to the ground, even when it is tilted.
The control system allows the torch to follow different oscillation patterns to adapt to varying operational requirements depending on the type of joint and the range of thicknesses.
Special sensors automatically stop the machine and the welding process when the end of the joint is reached or an obstacle is detected.
The control unit allows you to adjust the speed and set programmable oscillation patterns, enabling consistent, repeatable welds to be achieved in less time.
The control unit helps to maintain a constant stroke during long welds and repetitive passes, improving the appearance of the weld and reducing the need for rework.
Dynex 5M works well with most setups used with MIG (GMAW) welders, making it easy to integrate into existing production lines.
